Reticulated Silver Cuff

This sterling silver cuff is hand crafted using a reticulation technique that allows me to create unique textures on the surface of the metal. As a result, each piece is truly unique.

Reticulation involves heating and quenching the silver up to ten times to oxidise the copper alloy at the surface, then pickling it to remove the oxide and leave a thin layer of pure silver. The process - also known as depletion gilding - results in the the and interior of the metal melting at different temperatures, resulting in a wrinkled surface.

The bangle is 2.5cm wide but can be made in other sizes. Please contact me for prices.

This item is made to order and will be ready for ship in approximately 3 weeks from date of order. All jewellery is hallmarked at the Goldsmith's Company Assay Office with all legally required marks and my own maker's mark.

All jewellery is presented in a signature gift box and comes with care instructions and polishing cloth.
